Gentle music Laci Oh hi, everyone! Throughout the last ten years I've had so many vaginal issues that I'm basically a certified hacker now. ding Before I get started sharing some ancient remedies and twenty first century lifesavers just a little reminder. I'm gonna be talking about vaginal infections and stuff and sometimes the symptoms of those are actually symptoms of things that are much more serious. So, yay, love your vagina and go to the doctor when you need to. First step, when yeast gets a little outta control.
Why yes, I am about to suggest that you put garlic in your vagina. I know it sounds weird but it seriously works so well. Just push in a whole clove. Don't puncture it or will burn and change that baby every twelve hours. Usually within three to five days my yeast infections are gone. Yeah, it can leave a little bit of a smell but who doesn't like garlic bread The vagina's a pocket so it's not gonna get lost but if you're worried, you can tie some floss to it so.
That you can easily pull it out. For pain relief, I put plain yogurt twith live active cultures into the fingers of a latex glove and then freeze it. Look for yogurt with the least amount of sugar that you can find 'cause yeast loves sugar and when you pull it out of the freezer you'll have these delightful, mumbling yogurt tampons. Pop one in overnight with a pad to catch the leakage. Next up, UTIs. I know, I know you've heard it before but seriously, hydration is so freaking important.
Try to be drinking a little water all day long. Second, secret weapon is DMannose. You can get this at a supplement store and I take two capsules three times a day for five days while drinking lots of water. Continue taking it a few days even after the symptoms have gone. I've also had good results with probiotics for bladder pain and take a good quality hibacteria count probiotic every day and it keeps the good bacteria in balance all over my body. Now, these are especially important for anyone who's on antibiotics.
I really wish the doctor told me that. Lastly, what would a vagina tutorial be without discussing periods I am a firm believer that every single vagina owner should be tracking their cycle. And my favorite app to that is called Clue. I randomly came across it and I love the gender neutral interface and the clean, simple design. It's super easy to use. It helped me figure out that this pain I was feeling was ovulation pain. It also tells me the exact day my period will start, when I'm gonna have symptoms,.
When I'm fertile for babymakin'. Totally recommend it. I'll put the link down below. I always break out on my periods which is annoying, and it can hurt, and I found that tea tree oil really helps to soothe my skin. I just put a little dab on my zits before bed and in the morning they're gone or way less inflamed. For cramps, I'm a huge fan of heating pads. They help so much and I really like the ones that you can strap on on the go. You can get these heating pads literally anywhere.
Can I Get A Yeast Infection From Trying On A Bathing Suit At The Department Store
Good day, Eric Bakker, naturopath, author of Candida Crusher. Another frequently asked question. Can I get a yeast infection from trying on bathing suits at my department store That's quite an amazing question to ask. Why would you think you would get a yeast infection doing this You shouldn't really get a yeast infection doing this kind of thing. And again, if in doubt, make sure, obviously, that you take proper precautions. I take it that you're going to try on a bathing suit wearing at least some cotton underclothing. It's more.
Hygienic doing that. Probably not a good idea just to put on straight bikini or clothing on your body without something underneath that. You shouldn't really get a yeast infection by doing this, but it's not really hygienic thing perhaps to do either without considering the thin cotton undergarment. The way to answer that question is I think you'll be okay. You take proper precautions and you should be fine. There's another tutorial I did regarding catching. I think you should not worry about catching disease rather than building up your health, increasing resistance. And by doing that you.
Burning Urination Is It Caused By A Yeast Infection
Hi there, Eric Bakker, naturopath, author of Candida Crusher. Another question. Burning urination, is it caused by a Candida yeast infection It could well be. I've associated many cases of burning urination with yeast infections. Dysuria or burning urination can be as a consequence of a urinary tract infection more commonly, which could be bacterial in origin. So the smartest thing for you to do would be to go to your doctor and go and get checked out. Have a urine test first to see what organisms are present there in the urine to see if it can be cultured, whether it's bacterial or.
Yeast. A smear test may also be quite appropriate in this case. So there could be various things involved in burning urination, but you need to get checked out if it's recurring. Burning urination, drink more water. Make up a nice tea from some real cranberries instead of that drink that you buy full of sugar. These are clever things to do with dysuria. So to answer your question, is it yeast Get checked out first. Make sure what you're dealing with, whether it's bacterial or fungal, and that will give you a good idea on what to.
Treat once you've got your results back. Generally if these problems are acute and don't occur too often and are selflimiting, you can treat them at home. But if you have recurrent burning urination, then you'll certainly need a treatment. My book, Candida Crusher, explains a lot more about treatments which are going to help you considerably with various urinary disorders. So certainly get a copy and have a look. So I hope that answers your question. Get checked out first and I'm going to do some other YouTube clips on what to do with situations like burning urination. Thank you.
Can Wearing Thong Underwear Cause A Yeast Infection
Good day, Eric Bakker, naturopath, author of Candida Crusher with another question. Here's a question from a lady in New York. Can wearing thong underwear cause a yeast infection I think this lady's talking about those Gstring kind of underclothing. I don't think it can cause a yeast infection, but I think that if you've got an existing infection, it may be harder for you to get rid of if you've got quite tight clothing in the genital area that's not going to allow a lot of air to get to the region.
So if you've got an existing vaginal infection, it's probably not a good idea to wear thongs or what you call thong, I believe, or a Gstring. If you do wear them, don't wear them for long periods of time. You're better off wearing loose cotton clothing in this area. It's going to be better in terms of allowing that area to recover quicker, particularly if you're going to do good treatments. I've got a very good treatment in Chapter 5 of my book, a threestage protocol for instant relief. And there is also a twostage protocol for chronic yeast infections, which is going.
To work exceptionally well. So if you've got a current infection, probably not a good idea to wear a thong or a Gstring for prolonged periods of time. You'll probably get away with it, but not for days and days on end. So I don't think it causes yeast infections as such, but I certainly think it will make you have one longer or find it harder to get rid of if you have got a yeast infection. Stick with the more loose cotton clothing. Silk is also quite good to wear.
Does A Yeast Infection Cause A Lack Of Appetite
Hi there, Eric Bakker again, with another frequently asked question on yeast infection. This one is does yeast infection cause a lack of appetite I have to think about this one. Appetite can change. It can depend a lot on many factors. It can depend a lot on your stress levels, how you feel emotionally. It can occur as a consequence of a liver problem. You could have an issue with your stomach, with your pancreas, or your intestines. There could be many reasons why you have a lack of appetite.
I would say yeast infections would be indirectly linked to lack of appetite, but it certainly could be a possibility that appetite could be affected by yeast infections. A question I would ask you if you were a patient would be how long have you had this lack of appetite for What events occurred prior to the lack of appetite Have your bowel motions been altered at all Have you had any stressful events leading up to the lack of appetite So to answer your question, I'd probably ask you questions because there are many reasons.
Why you could have a lack of appetite. It's not fair to point a finger purely at a yeast infection when it comes to a lack of appetite. There can be many particular causes of lack of appetite. So to answer that question, does a yeast infection cause a lack of appetite It may, but I don't really think it's directly linked to Candida. It may occur as a secondary consequence. And I'm sure that if I asked you if there were any other problems going on with your digestive system, you would probably say yes, I have constipation or I have gas or bloating, all.
Can A Yeast Infection Cause Swollen Lymph Nodes
Good day, Eric Bakker here again with another question, a frequently asked question regarding yeast infections. Does yeast infection cause swollen lymph nodes Swollen lymph nodes are a result of a problem with your immune system. There could be many reasons why you have swollen lymph nodes, and where you have the swollen lymph nodes. A common place is the cervical lymph nodes around the neck. You can also have swollen lymph nodes in the groin, around the armpits, so there's various areas where you can commonly get them. Cervical ones are quite common with people.
My questions to you would be do you get night sweats with these swollen lymph nodes Do you have altered appetite or weight loss First thing that you would do is to get a blood test done. Have a complete blood count and have all the white cell parameters, in particular, to see if there's any infectious disease going on. Swollen lymph nodes can also commonly occur with food allergies, I've noticed. Food intolerances or food allergies can occur there. Whenever you've got a weakened immune system, you're going to be more prone to a yeast infection. I would not believe that a yeast infection.
Directly causes swollen lymph nodes, but they would occur as a secondary consequence to a weakened immunity. Swollen lymph nodes need checking out. There could be many different types of problems. You could've picked up an acute herpes problem. It could be something even like Leukemia, so it's very important for you, particularly if it's a recurring problem, you've had it for a long time, is to get checked out carefully by your doctor for swollen lymph nodes to see exactly what this problem is. In many cases, however, these things are selflimiting and acute and they disappear. I've seen it.
Can A Yeast Infection Be Caused By Taking Birth Control Pills
Good day, Eric Bakker, naturopath, author of Candida Crusher with a female FAQ. Erik, can yeast infections be caused by taking birth control pills That's an interesting question. Estrogen has a particular effect on helping to increase the proliferation of Candida in the body. And it will do so by a couple of different mechanisms. One theory with why yeast infections can increase at certain parts of the cycle, for example, is because estrogen can be heightened premenstrually, which will change the lining of the vagina so the mucous will change and the secretions will become thicker which allows.
More of a breeding ground for Candida and bacteria. One theory I've been reading is some experts believe that it's the delicate balance between estrogen and progesterone that is a thing with Candida proliferation at certain parts of the cycle. Estrogen and progesterone are balanced quite finely in the body. When this balance becomes disturbed, it can allow for an increase in opportunistic Candida. Now you can understand why many women experience more vaginal discomfort and yeast infection just before their period. And also many women during perimenopause and menopause but also.
Women who take the pill, Estradiol or synthetic estrogen, can also experience an increased incidence of a yeast infection. I've seen many women who begin taking the pill at a young age and then develop yeast infections. I also see many women who begin taking hormone replacement therapy and start noticing yeast infections. And also when they stop these pills, of course, they're going to get a change in estrogen level. Any time you begin taking a hormonal drug like this or cease taking it, you may notice some changes occurring there. Yes, the birth control is certainly linked up with an increased.
Do I Have To Buy New Underwear After I Cure My Yeast Infection
Good day there, Eric Bakker again, naturopath, author of Candida Crusher with another question which I get asked every now and then regarding a yeast infection. Do I have to buy new underwear after I cure my yeast infection This is the same as one I got from a lady in Canada not that long ago. You don't really have to buy new underwear. Don't throw your underwear out. Make sure that your underwear is sufficiently disinfected and cleansed. So whenever you have a yeast infection it pays, obviously, to wear cotton underclothing.
And to change them very often, frequently, and to drop the cotton clothing perhaps in a bleach solution. If it's washed in hot water and cleaned properly, you've got no fear really of contaminating these permanently where they need throwing out. I don't think you need to worry too much about having to buy new underwear when you cure your yeast infection. Some people do this but it's not really a problem. The only time I encourage people to throw out clothing with a yeast infection is if they've got very bad.
