Yeast Infection Self Test Kit

Gentle music Laci Oh hi, everyone! Throughout the last ten years I've had so many vaginal issues that I'm basically a certified hacker now. ding Before I get started sharing some ancient remedies and twenty first century lifesavers just a little reminder. I'm gonna be talking about vaginal infections and stuff and sometimes the symptoms of those are actually symptoms of things that are much more serious. So, yay, love your vagina and go to the doctor when you need to. First step, when yeast gets a little outta control.

Why yes, I am about to suggest that you put garlic in your vagina. I know it sounds weird but it seriously works so well. Just push in a whole clove. Don't puncture it or will burn and change that baby every twelve hours. Usually within three to five days my yeast infections are gone. Yeah, it can leave a little bit of a smell but who doesn't like garlic bread The vagina's a pocket so it's not gonna get lost but if you're worried, you can tie some floss to it so.

That you can easily pull it out. For pain relief, I put plain yogurt twith live active cultures into the fingers of a latex glove and then freeze it. Look for yogurt with the least amount of sugar that you can find 'cause yeast loves sugar and when you pull it out of the freezer you'll have these delightful, mumbling yogurt tampons. Pop one in overnight with a pad to catch the leakage. Next up, UTIs. I know, I know you've heard it before but seriously, hydration is so freaking important.

Try to be drinking a little water all day long. Second, secret weapon is DMannose. You can get this at a supplement store and I take two capsules three times a day for five days while drinking lots of water. Continue taking it a few days even after the symptoms have gone. I've also had good results with probiotics for bladder pain and take a good quality hibacteria count probiotic every day and it keeps the good bacteria in balance all over my body. Now, these are especially important for anyone who's on antibiotics.

I really wish the doctor told me that. Lastly, what would a vagina tutorial be without discussing periods I am a firm believer that every single vagina owner should be tracking their cycle. And my favorite app to that is called Clue. I randomly came across it and I love the gender neutral interface and the clean, simple design. It's super easy to use. It helped me figure out that this pain I was feeling was ovulation pain. It also tells me the exact day my period will start, when I'm gonna have symptoms,.

When I'm fertile for babymakin'. Totally recommend it. I'll put the link down below. I always break out on my periods which is annoying, and it can hurt, and I found that tea tree oil really helps to soothe my skin. I just put a little dab on my zits before bed and in the morning they're gone or way less inflamed. For cramps, I'm a huge fan of heating pads. They help so much and I really like the ones that you can strap on on the go. You can get these heating pads literally anywhere.

How Does The Doctor Test Me For Yeast Infections

Hi there, Eric Bakker, naturopath, author of Candida Crusher with a further frequently asked question. How does the doctor test me for a yeast infection Well, there are many ways that your doctor could potentially test. But if you're talking about a vaginal yeast infection, your doctor will probably do a smear test and take some cell samples there of the cervix or the vaginal wall and check to see if they can culture yeast off this or bacteria. The other way that some doctors do it is by way of blood testing by checking for antibody.

Levels. But generally medical practitioners will test by doing swabs. Not many medical practitioners really believe in systemic Candidiasis or bloodborne Candida infections, even though they do exist and there's certainly plenty written in the medical literature about this not many believe it. But antibody testing is quite valid, although some argue that you can have antibodies all your life to Candida and not have symptoms what we call asymptomatic. Others believe that antibody levels are significant regardless whether you have symptoms or not and still signify you need treatment for Candida.

I believe the best way to test for a yeast infection is a stool test. And I'm going to do a lot of FAQs on stool testing and explain stool testing indepth to you, the various components of the stool test, and why this is a superior way to test for yeast infection. So how does a doctor test for yeast infection Usually a swab or a vaginal test is the main way, if they test at all. But, yeah, that would be the way they would test. So I hope that answers your question. Thank you.

Wont A Vaginal Swab Be Sufficient To Detect My Yeast Infection

Hi there, Eric Bakker, naturopath, another question here. Here's a question from Susie in Tennessee. Would a vaginal swab be sufficient to detect my yeast infection That's a good question, Susie, and one I get asked every now and then from different patients. Women are often used to going to a doctor for a vaginal swab to determine the presence of a yeast infection to make sure it's a bacterial infection or a yeast infection. I just want to know what kind of infection I've got. So it's important to remember, though, that a.

Swab does not differentiate between a Candida infection and a vaginal colony of normally occurring vaginal Candida. The cotton swab is sampling the surface of the vaginal wall, and it won't tell you if your immune system is actually involved or if it's been producing antibodies against the Candida itself. The test will only indicate what's going on locally and not systemically. Another problem with a vaginal sampling is that if you're using a pessary or been douching the area or it's been sanitized to a degree, then it might return a false reading you.

May not get a positive response and that could really throw you out and then you really won't know what's going on there. You didn't think about those points, did you I'll bet you didn't. This catches quite a few people out, so you need to be careful about interpreting Candida tests, including vaginal swabs. So the results could be negative the results could be positive, so how do you really know what's going on there Don't make any false assumptions there. And a vaginal swab doesn't necessarily always determine the presence of a yeast infection for that reason. You.

May want to think carefully about having that douche or that pessary just prior to getting the vaginal sampling done. That's a good point there. So look at the totality of your symptoms as well to see what other kind of problems do you have Like fatigue, digestive problems, gas, bloating, sugar cravings, these things could also alert you toward a yeast infection. Be particularly careful there. I hope this answers your question. There are a lot more questions and a lot more answers you'll find on my YouTube channel, so be sure to have a look. And if the question is not there, go to candidacrusher and.

Is Spit Test For Candida Reliable To Determine Candida Overgrowth

Greetings. New Zealand naturopath, Eric Bakker. I'm the author of Candida Crusher and the formulator of the Canxida range of supplements. Thanks for checking out my tutorial. I've got a question here from Edward Caper in Poland. Edward is saying, Eric is the yeast spit test reliable Is the spit test a reliable indication for Candida Let's talk a little bit about that right now. About if it's good, if it's trash. Because some people online say it's junk. Other people say it's good. I've written about the spit test in my book.

The spit test is not exactly perfect or bonafide science. But what I can tell you is what I've found from the spit test with a lot of patients, thousands of patients I've seen over the years, it's a very good general indicator of overall oral and digestive health. You can't say if you do the spit test and you see strings or mucous hanging there in a glass of water first thing in the morning that you've got a bonafide case of Candida. That's crap. But what you can say is you've got problems, and those problems need addressing.

Because healthy people don't have that. They'll tend to have things floating on the top of the water rather than hanging down or having particles in the bottom of the glass. In most all cases of extremely healthy people I've seen, they don't have a lot of mucous in their mouth. They don't cough up mucous. They haven't got mucous in their nasopharyngeal region. Mucous can be a sure sign that's somethings wrong with your digestion. It can be an allergy. It could be a problem with your pancreas. You're not producing enough enzymes in the.

Mouth. You can have gut issues. Many, many different reasons why you can have mucous. Mucous is a great breeding ground for bacteria, but it also can mean if you've got bacteria, that Candida may not necessarily be found behind. There's a relationship of dysbiosis, in general, and food allergies and the spit test. So if you're positive for the spit test, you need to clean up your diet, improve your digestion, get the right kind of bugs into your digestive system, make sure you observe very good oral health, tongue brushing, brush your teeth twice a day. I tend to use sea salt or baking.

Soda, but also I like using tea tree oil and look after the gums rather than the teeth. Good oral hygiene is very, very important. Because if you keep this clean, it's going to keep stuff further down clean as well. It's often been said that the mouth and the anus are the two dirtiest parts of the body. It's not a good thing to say, but it's a fact. The spit test is not a reliable indication of Candida as such. You may have read about the different types of home tests I recommend in my book. There's the smell test, the taste.

Test, the itch test, these are all different kinds of tests that will give you an indication if you've got a yeast infection when you put them all together. No single test is good. The only test that I find is really good and accurate is a very comprehensive stool test when done properly. When done properly, it's a very accurate indication of a yeast infection in the gut. Not necessarily systemically, but definitely in the gut. There are other ways we can pick up if you've got a systemic yeast infection.

Just to summarize your question, Edward. Is the spit test a reliable indication for Candida No. It's not. You've got to use it in conjunction with other kinds of test. But what I do like, again, just to finish up on. You can use it as a yardstick, as an indicator for improving health. So if it comes back cleaner and cleaner over a period of time, you know that you've taken potential allergenic food out of the diet or you've cleared up a potential food intolerance. You've reduced the amount of oral bacteria and your health is going to.

Signs Ovulation Has Already Occurred

I want to know the signs ovulation has already occurred. Your period coming is a sign you probably ovulated. I want to know if I've ovulated to get pregnant, and a period is proof that did not happen. You only have a one day period or so to get pregnant. I want to know when that is. If the doctor is checking your fertility due to health issues, they can see that you've ovulated via a sonogram. I cannot afford to do any more ultrasounds than the standard one to confirm a pregnancy.

So look at the basal body temperature chart. That's a measurement of the temperatures internally. Track it each day so you know your baseline and variation. What variation are you looking for When the basal body temperature rises, that is the day after you ovulated. Then I need to know that value as well as recognize it to know that ovulation has already occurred. Some women get cramping in the middle of their cycle as a sign of ovulation. That's only one in five. If you get cramps on one side but not the other and you do not have it the next day,.

You probably ovulated. And I thought PMS was bad. These cramps are not as bad as PMS, but few women get them. Most women though see changes in the cervical mucus. It is all the same to me except for when I have a yeast infection. The discharge is normally thick and white, but it becomes clear and watery when you ovulate. You know you've ovulated and passed the fertile time when it switches back to thick and white. And there's a chance I'm pregnant if the discharge spikes. I'd say morning sickness is a more certain sign of pregnancy. If you want to be certain.

You've ovulated, buy ovulation tests. I do not want to have a stack of ovulation tests in the bathroom, much less in addition to a stack of pregnancy tests. Using ovulation tests will indicate when the lutenizing hormone levels peaked, and when the ovulation test says that hormone is falling, you know when ovulation occurred. So that's what the LH on the box means. What are other signs I've ovulated Studies show that women get more flirty and wear more red when they are ovulating, as if the hormones make you more likely to have sex when you can conceive.

Skin Tag Removal in 15 Mins Home!

Welcome to SKIN TAGS! Skin tags can be removed with one easy 15 minute treatment at home! The Skin tag removal kit contains all you require to remove 30 to 40 skin tags. and skin healing cream containing pearl oil Here we have a young lady with a skin tag on her neck. she is very aware of it and wants it removed. After cleaning the area with a sterile pad, here we can see the emery board being used to roughen the surface of the skin. to allow the active ingredients to penetrate into the body of the Skin Tag to destroy it.

The applicator is used to coat the skin tag with the solution A mild stinging sensation is normal at this stage Any excess cream should be wiped away The cream is left in place for 15 minutes in some cases a second application may be needed where the skin tag is old and thick Fresh water is used to remove the dried cream and clean the treated area We can see as the area is cleaned that the whole skin tag has turned black! A sure sign that the treatment has been successful.

The skin around the treated area is quite red, this should be expected There may even be slight swelling around the base of the skin tag, but this is temporary The healing cream containing pearl oil is then applied to the treated area and surrounding skin. After a short time, the redness around the area has greatly reduced leaving only local redness. After 24 hours we can see there is a little redness around the treated area and the skin tag has become darker and smaller 2, 3 4 days pass.

How to Get Rid of Bed Bugs Quick Tips

Okay we get a lot of phone calls asking how do I get rid of bed bugs, and there were several steps that go into this procedure and step one is always going to be inspection and sanitation. What we mean by that is we are going to search the room and we're going to get rid of anything that we don't absolutely need to have. That means that we're going to get rid of extra papers that we have laying around. If we store things under the bed we're going to get those.

Things out from under the bed we're going to move them out of the way so that we can clear the way toward a treatment path. All clothes should be bagged up. Drawers should be emptied. So your room should kind of look like it did when you were first moving in. Everything should be clean and empty. Then we are going to move on to step two, and that's the thorough treatment. That means every crack and crevice, every nook and cranny has to be treated with some product. Whether it's an aerosol, a liquid concentrate, or a dust.

Everything must be treated. Step three, you go back and you treat again, and you're going to treat every two weeks until you don't have any more bed bugs or any evidence of bed bugs for at least thirty days. Okay, some common mistakes folks make when they're trying to get rid of bed bugs is just not doing a thorough job. A lot of folks want to go in and just kind of broadcast spray all over the room and hope that just does the job. Well bed bugs like to hide in cracks.

And crevices so it is very important that every crack and crevice is treated. This means cracks and crevices around base boards, door frames, window frames, picture frames. If you can fit a credit card in there a bed bug can also hide there. Every crack and crevice must be treated. The second common mistake is just not doing the repeat treatments. People want to treat once and move on. Unfortunately the bed bug egg is protected so those repeat treatments are necessary with every product that you use. You may be wondering if you can treat bed bugs yourself versus hiring a professional,.

And the answer is of course you can. You have to be committed to adding a little bit of your own labor into the process, but if you are willing to do that you can certainly treat bed bugs yourself. We do recommend that you use one of our bed bug kits versus trying to choose one single product because there could be a resistance issue with the product that you are choosing and treating the string of bed bugs that you have. If you choose a kit you'll notice they come with an aerosol, they'll come with a dust, and may even come.
